Windows 11 23H2 & Moment 4 are Installation Ready
Microsoft is set to push out their latest version of Windows 11 to users. At the time of writing there are two early access releases of the new Windows 11 update. Microsoft is calling it “Moment 4 (Version 22H2 Update)”. To test the newest version, all you need to do is opt into the Windows Insider Program, within a few clicks inside your existing Windows installation you will be able to test all the newest features to your heart’s content.
To get the full experience, you will need the proper Windows 11 2023 update (version 23H2). To acquire this version soon, instead of waiting for it to be rolled out to your computer over time, you can head to Microsoft’s Windows Download page. On the Windows Download page, you can choose from three options for installing the current version of windows. To guarantee you will get the 23H2 version, you will need to select the manual ISO install option or do an in-place upgrade. Due to optimization issues, the Windows Media Creation Tool won’t work to get 23H2 until what has been estimated as the 15th of November 2023.
The major difference between Windows 11 22H2 and Windows 11 23H2 is Windows Copilot. Copilot is Microsoft’s intelligent assistant that they claim will help improve workflow and the general Windows experience. Also included in the update are AI enhanced tools in Microsoft Paint, the snipping tool (such as text redaction and extraction), AI search functionality in the photos app to make searching for photos easier, and more. More information on what features are being added to the newest Windows 11 update can be found on the official Windows website.
